I don't like automatic coffee makers and I hate coffee that's been sitting, even for a few minutes. Making coffee this way is perfect for me. Before, I had been using a plastic cone and wasn't thrilled with it but it was all I could find around here. Plastic anything is not my first choice. It stains and I always wonder how much of the plastic I'm getting along with the brew, even using a paper filter.This little cone is the perfect solution. It doesn't stain, rinses out quickly and cleanly, and best of all, it's NOT PLASTIC! It's heavy and sturdy and feels like a real coffee maker. It looks classy in the kitchen. It's inexpensive.
